Boomers Return Home for Season's Second Half

SCHAUMBURG, IL - The Schaumburg Boomers, presented by Wintrust Community Banks, return to Boomers Stadium following the Frontier League All-Star Game with six games beginning July 24 and continuing through July 30.

The Boomers open up a weekend series against the Rockford Aviators Friday, July 24, at 6:30 PM with Jimmy Buffett Theme Night. A live performance by the Waverunner Band opens the festivities, while $5 cheeseburgers and $7 margaritas will be available throughout the game. Post-Game fireworks will occur after the game with the second of three Scout Sleepover nights at Boomers Stadium capping off a fantastic night at the ballpark.

Saturday, July 25, Country Theme Night returns to Boomers Stadium with a special set of post-game fireworks set to country music following that night's game.

A weekend set concludes July 26 as the Boomers host the fourth annual Squirt Gun Fight presented by WRMN 1410 AM Elgin at 1:00 PM. The first 1,000 fans through the Boomers Stadium gates will receive a complimentary water pistol with the third base side of the concourse level set to be a dedicated "wet zone". Bring your own squirt gun and join the Boomers for an afternoon of fun for the whole family.

Schaumburg returns to action Tuesday, July 28 to open a three game weekday series against the Joliet Slammers at 6:30 PM and continuing with a Field Trip Day matinee Wednesday, July 29 at 11:00 AM.

Capping off the six game homestand July 30 is the Boomers third annual Diamond Dig presented by Wyatt Austin Jewelers, part of a special Ladies Night theme. Miller Lite drafts are just $2 as part of Thirsty Thursday and following the game, ladies will have the chance to dig through the Boomers Stadium infield in search of a $3,000 diamond ring!
