
Boomers Championship Rings & Fireworks Highlight Opening Home Stand of 2015

SCHAUMBURG, IL - The Schaumburg Boomers, presented by Wintrust Community Banks, begin the defense of their 2013 & 2014 Frontier League titles with an eventful Opening Day on Friday, May 22nd at Boomers Stadium, the first of three games vs. the Lake Erie Crushers.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early opening night as there will be an on-field ring ceremony and the raising of the 2014 Frontier League championship flag beginning at 6:05 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. The fun will continue well into the night on Friday as fans will also be treated to the first of three consecutive Post-Game Fireworks Shows presented by Wintrust Community Banks.
Saturday, May 23rd will feature a 2014 Replica Championship Ring Giveaway to the first 1,000 fans courtesy of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard, as the Boomers face the Crushers at 6:00 p.m. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. Fireworks follow the game courtesy of Wintrust Community Banks as well as an appearance by the famous, high-flying Jesse White Tumblers.
Sunday, May 24th the first 1,000 fans to arrive will receive a Boomers 2015 Magnet Schedule courtesy of Frato's Pizza and The Daily Herald. The Sunday game starts at 6:30 p.m. and will feature a special Memorial Day Fireworks display after the game.
The final game of the weekend series is also a Boomers' Family Sunday as families can purchase a Family Pack consisting of 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 chips and 4 sodas for just $39.00!
West division rival Normal Cornbelters invade Boomers Stadium for a three-game series beginning on Tuesday, May 26th at 6:30 p.m. The unique series will feature an 11:00 am Kids' Day on Wednesday, May 27th and, back by popular demand, 21 & Over Night presented by Lagunitas on Thursday, May 28th. The special adults only event is also Thirsty Thursday, featuring $2 domestic draft beers, with first pitch at 7:30 p.m.
The River City Rascals, the Boomers 2014 championship series opponent, visit Schaumburg for a weekend series featuring consecutive Post-Game Fireworks Shows on Friday, May 29th and Saturday, May 30th courtesy of Wintrust Community Banks. Saturday is also Princess Night including princess characters and a Pre-Game Princess Parade on-field for all the girls in their gowns at 5:20 p.m. prior to the 6:00 p.m. first pitch.
The Boomers close out the home stand on May 31st with a 1:00 p.m. Family Sunday game vs. the Rascals as families can purchase a Family Pack consisting of 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 chips and 4 sodas for just $39.00! Also on Sunday, Boomers players will be available for Post-Game Autographs on the concourse courtesy of Wintrust Community Banks.
