Boomers 2017 Season Schedule Unveiled

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - The Schaumburg Boomers, presented by Wintrust Community Banks, today announce their 2017 Frontier League schedule, including game times for all 48 home games at Boomers Stadium. The team will open the 2017 season at home on Friday, May 12th at 6:30 PM against the Traverse City Beach Bums.
The Boomers 2017 schedule boasts a total of twenty-two fireworks shows, including the return of post-game fireworks displays following every Friday and Saturday home game. The Boomers full 2017 promotional and event schedule, featuring fan giveaways, promotional appearances, food and beverage specials, and theme nights will be announced at a later date.
Other schedule highlights include games on Memorial Day weekend (May 26-28) and the annual Independence Day celebration (July 3-4). The team will conclude the regular season on the road at the Windy City Thunderbolts on September 3rd.
Once again, games on Monday through Friday will be scheduled with 6:30 PM start times, and Saturday contests set to begin at 6 PM. Day baseball will return to Schaumburg on Sundays with start times slated for 1 PM. All game times are subject to change and gates open one hour prior to game time.

With Free Parking at every game and tickets starting at just $8, the Boomers are the most affordable entertainment option for families again in 2017. The Boomers 96-game schedule features 48 home games at Boomers Stadium, which is conveniently located right off the Elgin-O'Hare Expressway at Springinsguth Road and just west of I-290. The Stadium is also located adjacent to the Schaumburg Metra stop along the Milwaukee-District West Line.
