
Joliet Slammers Release 2017 Season Schedule

Joliet, IL - The Joliet Slammers presented by ATI Physical Therapy are excited to reveal their 2017 season schedule.
The Slammers begin the season on the road May 12-14 against the Lake Erie Crushers before returning home to the Slammers stadium for a nine game home stand. The home opener is set for Tuesday, May 16 against the Traverse City Beach Bums. Tickets on opening day start at $2 as part of the Slammers $2 Tuesday promotion.
The Slammers will host a series over the July 4th holiday with games July 3-5 versus the River City Rascals. Fireworks are planned for both Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4.
For the first time since 2004, Joliet will host the Frontier League All-Star activities. On Tuesday, July 11, the Slammers will host the Frontier League Home Run Derby, followed by the All-Star Game Wednesday, July 12. The Slammers will end the regular season over Labor Day weekend with their final home stand September 1-3 against the Lake Erie Crushers.
Group and season tickets are on sale now. Individual game tickets will go on sale at a later date.
