
Bombers to Host Saturday Community Blood Drive with Michigan Blood

Battle Creek, Mich. - Join the Battle Creek Bombers in helping to save lives during a blood drive on game day, Saturday June 28th. The event is a community partnership between the Bombers and Michigan Blood. Michigan Blood is the non-profit community blood center which provides all the blood to hospitals in the Battle Creek community including Bronson Battle Creek, the VA Medical Center, and Southwest Michigan Rehabilitation Center.
Not only will donors walk away with the good feeling they saved lives, they'll also get a FREE TICKET to the Saturday night game, and a FREE MITTEN STATE t-shirt. The blood bus will be parked outside CO Brown Stadium from Noon-6 PM. Any healthy person 17 or older (or 16 with parental consent) who weighs at least 110 pounds may be eligible to donate. In order to make an appointment, go to miblood.org or call 1-866-MIBlood. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are also welcome.
