Bombers season ticket sales continue to surge

WINNIPEG, MB - Renewed interest in the Winnipeg Blue Bombers has translated into an increase in demand for season tickets.

The football club announced today that 17,356 season tickets have been sold for the upcoming 2006 season. That is an increase of more than 1,200 season tickets sold from this time a year ago.

Fans wishing to purchase season tickets in person can do so by visiting the Winnipeg Football Club offices at 1465 Maroons Road. Fans wishing to buy tickets over the phone can do so by calling 784-2583, ext. 592 or 593. Out-of-town fans can order their tickets by calling toll-free at 1-888-266-2377.

The purchase of a Bomber season ticket also gives fans an opportunity to reserve the same seat for the 2006 Grey Cup, to be played Nov. 19 at Canad Inns Stadium in Winnipeg.
