
Bombers Score Series Sweep over the Strykers

Bryan-College Station- Garrett Hofstad pitched six scoreless innings as the Bombers sweep the Strykers, 8-7.
The Bombers celebrated Health Awareness Appreciation Night brought to you by Cashion Dental on this Thirsty Thursday night thanks to WB Liquors.
Hofstad picked up his fourth win of the year as he allowed just three hits and struck out six. With the performance, Hofstad lowered his ERA to a sparklingly 1.51 for the year.
Oklahoma State's Garrett McCain led the Bombers at the plate from the leadoff spot with a 2-run double in the bottom of the fourth that scored Ivan Estrella and Hunter Uzzle. McCain would walk twice in the game and score two runs.
Hunter Wilson tallied the most hits for Brazos Valley with three, including a run scoring single in the first. Uzzle had a two-run double in the fifth inning and added two walks and a run scored. Alex Samples contributed two RBIs.
The Bombers head out on their final road trip of the regular season as they travel to Victoria for a two game series on Friday and Saturday. The Bombers will return home for Walk-off Sunday presented by Ashley Homestore College Station as they take on the Texas Marshals. Sunday night will be Bombercon Comics Night sponsored by Intersteam Carpet Cleaning with a special appearance from the Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles.
