
Strykers Late Rally Falls Short

The Woodlands- The Strykers scored seven runs in the last two innings but it wasn't enough as they fell to the Bombers, 8-7.
Cody Staab led the Strykers with a 2-for-4 effort from the top of the order, including an RBI fielder's choice in top of the eighth. He had two RBIs in the game. Mitchell Bauman had a 2-run single in the bottom of the ninth. Josh Russell crossed the plate twice for the Woodlands.
Taylor Rich pitched five innings in relief, allowing only one earned run with seven strikeouts.
The Woodlands return home tomorrow for their final home stand of the season. The Strykers will host the Marshals tomorrow and Saturday.
