Bombers Prepare To Host B.C. Lions On Sunday

WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers continue preparations for Sunday's crucial clash with B.C. Lions (4:00 p.m.) at Canad Inns Stadium.

After winning three straight games, the Blue Bombers have moved in a tie for second place in the CFL East division with a 6-8 overall record.

Monday's win over the Hamilton Ti-Cats was a great team win. All three phases of the team played well and held the Ti-Cats caged all night long. Adarius Bowman set a career high with 213 yards receiving with two touchdowns and Michael Bishop threw for 356 yards and three touchdowns. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have teamed up with the Public Service Alliance of Canada to assist students in need of school supplies. Fans are encouraged to bring school supplies to the game and will be collected at all gates to help inner city students. All school supplies and cash donations collected will be delivered to schools in the inner city that have been identified as having the greatest need.

The Blue Lightning dance team will be appearing at the Bomber Store at St.Vital Centre Saturday from 9 am - 6pm selling their calendars. With every calendar purchased you will have a chance to win weekly prizes including a RV experience for 16 people at the October 24th game against Montreal, plus some great coupons are included in the calendars.
