Bryan/College Station, TX - The Bombers were unable to keep up the win streak began prior to the All-Star break, falling to Acadiana 4-3. The game was evenly matched, with neither team leading by more than one run after the first inning.

The game started with the Cane Cutters scoring a pair of runs in the top of the first, following a rain delay that pushed tonight's start time to 7:50. The Bombers would answer back in the home half of the first inning, when Robin Adames drew a bases loaded walk to score Cam Blake and bring the score to 2-1. The Bombers would then score a pair of runs in the second inning to take the lead after a Cam Haller double and Cam Blake sac fly, making the score 3-2.

The Cane Cutters would come back however in the 5th inning to tie the game against Bombers starting pitcher Brad Verel, to tie the game at 3. The score would remain tied until the Cane Cutters again broke through in the 8th inning against reliever Bradley Griggs to give the Cane Cutters the 4-3 lead, which would be tonight's final.

The Bombers return to action tomorrow night against the Cane Cutters at Travis Field. The Bombers will then take on the Texarkana Twins at home in front of the Travis Field crowd.
