July 7, 2018 - Texas Collegiate League (TCL)
Texarkana Twins News Release
Victoria, TX - It was not a good day for the Twins both at the plate and on the mound as they split the series against the Generals. The Generals outhit the Twins 16-4 en route to winning 9-0.
The Twins could not get anything going at the plate with all but one Twins batter striking out at least once. The Generals on the other hand had multiple innings where they put runs on the board, scoring four in the fourth, two in the 5th, one in the 7th, and two more in the 8th to give the home team a 9-0 win. The Twins were limited at the plate, as they could not get anything going at the plate all night.
The Twins will remain on the road as they head to Bryan, to take on the rival Brazos Valley Bombers for a two game series starting tomorrow.
