BATTLE CREEK, MI - The Battle Creek Bombers and Wisconsin Rapids Rafters played to a rare rain-shortened eight-inning tie, 6-6 at C.O. Brown Stadium.

The Bombers responded an inning later with four of their own in the third. Dylan Delaney belted a two-run triple, and Jeremy Shay chipped in with a sacrifice fly.

The Bombers took the lead in the sixth on a sac-fly from Dillon Moyer and an RBI single by Kyle Figgins. The Rafters, however, came back with single runs in the seventh and eighth innings before the game was called due to torrential rain.
