The Battle Creek Bombers have a chance to lock in their first playoff appearance in the teams 5 year history tonight. Four teams were in the mix heading into last nights games and now only three remain as all teams head into the last game of the 1st half tonight. The playoff scenarios are as follows:
Madison Mallards clinches South with win (or no game)
Battle Creek Bombers clinches South with win AND Eau Claire Express win
Eau Claire Express clinches South with win AND Battle Creek Bombers loss (or no game)
Madison and Eau Claire will face each other tonight in Eau Claire with both of their playoff lives on the line as well. The Bombers need a win tonight and a Mallards loss to clinch the spot. The Bombers take on the Wisconsin Woodchucks in Wausau, Wisconsin tonight starting at 7:05pm. Troy Forton, Western Michigan standout will take the mound for the Bombers.
