Hillsboro Hops News Release
The Hops are off to Salem starting tonight for a 3-game series with the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. It's a crucial set for playoff positioning for the Volcanoes who are trying to hold off the Eugene Emeralds to clinch a playoff berth. Hillsboro has already clinched a playoff berth by winning the first half, and currently hold a one-game lead in the Northwest League South Division in the second half.
Tyler Bolton pitches for the Hops tonight. Bolton has been solid all season, but it took him until his last outing 8/12 against Vancouver to record his first victory of the season.
First pitch tonight is at 6:35 PM at Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer, Oregon. Pregame radio is at 6:05 PM on Rip City Radio 620 AM and at www.ripcityradio.com.
