
Boise Hawks Return Home Tuesday

BOISE, ID - The Boise Hawks will look to snap a four-game losing streak as they return home to face the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes tomorrow, Tuesday August 2. The Hawks (2-4) have an off-day today, after going 1-4 against the Everett AquaSox. It was their first road trip of the second half. The upcoming five-game set with Salem-Keizer (5-1) marks the first time the two teams meet this season.
The Hawks will look to right the ship at home, as they are now 6-18 on the road. Look for exciting promotions everyday of this homestand starting tomorrow with Library Voucher night, sponsored by KeyBank. Fans can fans can use vouchers from the local library in exchange for two reserve seats. A Hawks player will also read a book to fans in the Kids' Park at 6:50 p.m. Fans can get a free ticket by purchasing a ticket and bringing a KRAFT Singles wrapper to the ballpark this Tuesday. Wednesday will be the second $1 Family Feast night, sponsored by State Farm Insurance and KKGL. Families can feast on $1 hot dogs, popcorn, ice cream sandwiches, and snocones. If fans come wearing a HawksTown bracelet, they'll receive a first base reserved seat for just $1.
Thursday, August 4 is a 4 for $34 Nights at Memorial Stadium, where fans can purchase four tickets, four hot dogs, and four Pepsi products for just $34. The fourth is also Cubs night and half-price beverage night, where fans can get a Brett Jackson bobblehead. Fans can then enjoy post-game fireworks on Friday. The RALLY! Act will be making their first appearance of the season this Saturday, August 6. Saturday is also PanCan Awareness night.
The Hawks are in third place in the East, behind the first place Tri-City Dust Devils and the Spokane Indians. LHP Willengton Cruz will toe the rubber tomorrow looking to improve his 2.68 ERA, best among all starters on the Hawks. First pitch is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. MT.
