Mississippi RiverKings News Release

SOUTHAVEN---The Memphis RiverKings of the Central Hockey League announced today that they have activated Goalie Daniel Boisclair from the 14-day Injured-Reserve. Boisclair was then recalled by Carolina of the N.H.L. and then assigned to Amarillo of the CHL.

Boisclair was a sixth round draft pick of the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2001 N.H.L. entry draft. He had seen time in the nets in 13 games for the RiverKings this season posting a 2-5-1 record with a 3.63 Goals-Against-Average and a Save Percentage of 0.899. He was the starting and winning goaltender in the opening night win over Fort Worth on October 23. Boisclair was playing with Memphis this season on a loan-contract from the Hurricanes, who own his rights.

This leaves the RiverKings with J.F. Racine and David Lemanowicz as the two goalies on their roster.

The RiverKings host the Oklahoma City Blazers tomorrow night at 7:05. The first 1,500 fans that night will receive a DeSoto Athletic Club water bottle. That game will be followed by the defending President's Cup Champion Laredo Bucks coming to town for a 7:05 game on Saturday. It will be Miller Lite Nascar Night with an appearance by Rusty Wallace's Show Car.

A RiverKings game can be even more fun when you take it in with your group or organization. Get your group together and have a great time at the DeSoto Civic Center. For more information or to purchase season tickets, group tickets, mini-plans, or 9 game vouchers call the RiverKings at 662-342-1755 and ask for the sales department or stop by the DCC during business hours.
