Bobcats to honor military
January 19, 2007 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Bismarck Bobcats News Release
TONIGHT the Bismarck Bobcats are having a "Military Appreciation Night" and we need your support! On Friday the Bobcat hockey team will be wearing military jerseys sponsored by the US Army as a tribute to our past and present military. After the game a live jersey auction will be held where partial proceeds from the auction will be used to send care packages to our military currently serving overseas. We hope you will take part in this special event!
The United Way, The Bismarck Tribune, and the Bobcat hockey team have joined together to help folks keep warm this winter and you can help! TOMORROW NIGHT bring new mittens, scarves, hats and gloves to the game and help us Warm Up The Ice! After the Bobcats score toss them onto the ice and we'll collect them and distribute them to local United Way charities. Please join us on Saturday - your presence at the game counts towards the total money collected that night from ticket sales and the United Way will receive $1.00 for each ticket sold. Help us fill the rink and bring your friends, family and your donations!
