Bismarck Bobcats News Release

(Bismarck, ND) - Bobcat Hockey is pleased to support Carrie's Kids. Thirty of Carrie's Kids were treated to a Bobcat hockey game on Friday, February 29th. "Carrie's Kids" is THE LAST LINE OF DEFENSE for children and youth who are in transition and experiencing homelessness in the Bismarck-Mandan area. Carrie's mission is to assist and stabilize children and youth so they have the opportunity to go to school, get a high school diploma, a GED, or train in a trade. Most importantly, Carrie believes EVERY CHILD and YOUTH has the right to shelter, food, water, education, and safety. Carrie's Kids is striving to enhance lives with events, sponsors, and mentors (for both children and parents). Carrie's Kids work to find and move furniture, food, clothing, school supplies and so much more. The Bobcats are pleased to be a part of that enhancement and are looking forward to making a positive impact on the children and the program. In addition to bringing Carrie's Kids to the game the Bobcat players will be visiting with kids from the program in the coming weeks. For more information on Carrie's Kids visit www.carrieskids.com.
