SALT LAKE CITY (May 14, 2010) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced today that catcher Bobby Wilson will make a rehab appearance with Triple-A Salt Lake tonight. Wilson suffered a concussion and left ankle sprain in his first major league start on April 23 in a home plate collision with New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira. In 2009, he hit .271 with 19 doubles, eight homeruns and 55 RBI in 97 games for Salt Lake. In 12 games for the Angels last season, he hit .200 with one double. The Dunedin, Fla. native was originally selected by the Angels in the 48th round of the 2002 draft.
