
Board Opens Nominations for 13th Director

WINNIPEG, MB - Following through on a commitment made at the Fan Forum last month, the Board of Directors of the Winnipeg Football Club today opened the nomination process to expand the Board to 13 Directors. One director is to be elected at this time.
Those interested in submitting an application or nominating someone else, can apply starting today with the deadline for submissions set at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2013.
Nominations may be submitted electronically by emailing applications to boardnomination@bluebombers.com or in written form mailing it to: 315 Chancellor Matheson Road, Winnipeg Manitoba, R3T 1Z2 or by dropping it off at The Football Club's Administration Offices at Investors Group Field.
All applicants are asked to carefully review the qualifications section of this process with details on www.bluebombers.com.
Once the nomination process closes, each application will be reviewed by the Nominating Committee of the Board and a candidate who meets the qualifications will then be considered and eventually elected by the full Board of Directors. It is anticipated that the new Director will be selected at either the July or August Board meeting and then assume office in September.
