
Lions Set to Roar at 2013 CFL Draft Monday

(Vancouver) Members of the BC Lions coaching and player personnel staff will pour over their notes and review the video one final time as they prepare to make their selections in the 2013 CFL Draft on Monday, May 6 beginning at 9:00 am (PT).
The Lions currently hold seven picks in Monday's draft including the sixth overall in addition to the 12th, 21st, 33rd, 42nd, 50th and 58th picks. Members of the media are invited to follow the proceedings from the Lions' practice facility in Surrey.
Last year, the Lions used their second overall selection to take defensive lineman Jabar Westerman who went on to represent the West Division as its Most Outstanding Rookie in 2012.
For a sixth year, TSN will provide exclusive coverage of the first two rounds of the draft and fans can track the remaining rounds on TSN.ca. Fans of the Lions can also follow the final five rounds through real-time updates on bclions.com and Twitter.
BC Lions Training Camp presented by Sun Peaks Resort gets underway in Kamloops, BC on Sunday, June 2. The Lions kick off the 2013 campaign with a preseason tilt versus Edmonton on Friday, June 21 at 7:00 pm and begin their regular season home schedule on Thursday, July 4 versus the reigning Grey Cup champion Toronto Argonauts.
