Blues Send for Sejna Again; Return King to Peoria

Peoria, IL (January 31, 2007) - St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today that left wing Peter Sejna has been recalled from the Peoria Rivermen, the Blues' American Hockey League affiliate. The team also announced it has assigned left wing D.J. King to Peoria.

Sejna, 27, notched a goal in his season debut on Jan. 15 at Phoenix. He has skated in five games with the Blues, tallying one goal. Sejna currently ranks second on the Rivermen with 36 points (12 goals, 24 assists) in 39 games played.

The Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovakia native was signed by St. Louis as an undrafted free agent on April 6, 2003.

King, 23, has played in nine games for the Blues this season, registering 16 penalty minutes. He has skated in 32 games with Peoria, recording five points (three goals, two assists) along with a team-high 93 penalty minutes.

The 6-0, 185-pound forward was originally drafted by the Blues as their sixth round selection, 190th in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

On Saturday, February 3, the Rivermen travel to Grand Rapids, Mich., to face off against the Griffins. Game time is 6:00 p.m. CT at Van Andel Arena.
