Lakewood, NJ: The Hagerstown Suns lost another heartbreaker at FirstEnergy Park on Monday night, falling to the BlueClaws in 2-1 in 11 innings.
In the 11th, 1B Matt Reed blooped one into leftfield that fell in between SS Stephen King and LF Joe Napoli with Gus Milner chugging around 3rd base in a 1-1 tie. Napoli picked it up and threw it 20 feet wide off the Suns' dugout fence and the BlueClaws took the series 2-1 in walk off fashion.
The Suns will travel to East Lake, Ohio on Tuesday to take on the Captains in a three game set. First pitch at Classic Park on Tuesday is scheduled for 7:05PM. The return home on Friday, April 27th to face the Shorebirds, a Baltimore Orioles' Affiliate at 6:35PM.
