
Baseball Clinics Offered by Catfish

Columbus, GA - Here is your chance to learn baseball basics from professional ballplayers right here in Columbus. Boys and girls ages 4 to 14 are currently enrolling for two clinics to be held in May.
On Saturday, May 5 Catfish players will visit Fort Benning from 9:00am to 11:00am. Each participant will get a free general admission ticket for that evening's 7:00pm game between the Catfish and the Charleston RiverDogs. To sign up for the free event at Fort Benning contact Dorrie Wagner at (706) 545-1853.
On Saturday, May 26 Catfish players will work out right here at Golden Park from 10:00am to 12:00pm. This clinic is $5 per child. Each participant will get a free general admission ticket for that evening's 7:00pm game between the Catfish and the Savannah Sand Gnats. To sign up for the clinic at Golden Park call the Catfish office at (706) 571-8866.
Both clinics will offer four instructional stations in hitting, pitching, infield and outfield. The players will sign autographs after the instructional sessions. Players are encouraged to bring their own equipment.
