SALISBURY, MARY. - Kelly Dugan's homer in the 1st inning set the pace for Lakewood's 9-1 victory over the Delmarva Shorebirds Tuesday night.

Dugan's homer was his 10th of the season and Maikel Franco would add a two-run home run in the 5th inning to make the BlueClaws lead 6-0 for starting pitcher Moises Rivas. Rivas allowed one run in 5.2 innings for his second win in three starts with Lakewood.

Delmarva scored a run in the 5th inning on a lead-off homer by Nicky Delmonico to make Lakewood's lead 6-1. That run was just the first earned run allowed by BlueClaws pitching in the last 31 innings and the BlueClaws pitching staff has now allowed one earned runs in the last 36 total innings and four ballgames (0.25 ERA).

The BlueClaws and Shorebirds battle in Game 3 of their four-game series with the 'Claws putting Lino Martinez (5-5, 5.98) on the mound against Delmarva's Williams Louico (0-4, 6.92).
