Jersey Shore BlueClaws News Release
For Lakewood, the start of the 2003 season at home has been a difficult one. The BlueClaws lost 6-4 last night, and are now 11-23 on the season. Lakewood has received solid play as of late from outfielder Chad Oliva, who has hit in six straight games. The BlueClaws also have received solid work out of the bullpen lately, allowing just six earned runs in their last ten games. Remember to join us on Friday and Saturday as Lakewood takes on Lexington. Reserve Seat Tickets are available! And whether you're at FirstEnergy Park or not, listen to each game on 1160 AM WOBM, or www.lakewoodblueclaws.com.
2. The BlueClaws are getting a bit healthier. Infielder Jeremy Isenhower, bothered by an upper respiratory infection for the past 10 days, has been activated from the disabled list. Omar Bramasco was sent to extended spring training to make room for him. Meanwhile, Sean Walsh, who was with Lakewood last year, has been sent to the BlueClaws from Clearwater while catcher Mark McRoberts recovers from a concussion. Stay tuned to our website for the latest news and information on our ball club.
