Winnipeg Blue Bombers News Release
WINNIPEG, MB - Football fans attending the Winnipeg Blue Bombers' Oct. 30 game versus the Calgary Stampeders at Canad Inns Stadium can help make this winter a little more tolerable for the city's disadvantaged.
Fans are asked to bring along new hats, scarves, mitts and gloves as well as cans or packages of soup to the game as part of the Warm and Fuzzy Days campaign sponsored by Manitoba Public Insurance and the Insurance Brokers Association of Manitoba (IBAM).
All items collected at the game will be donated to Winnipeg Harvest.
Manitoba Public Insurance employees and IBAM members will work with Winnipeg Harvest volunteers at stadium gates to collect donations.
Items can also be dropped off at all Manitoba Public Insurance locations and participating Autopac brokers' offices until the end of October.
