
Fleming earns Rogers CFL Player of the Week honors

(Edmonton) Eskimo kicker Sean Fleming has been named Rogers Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 17 after his perfect field goal kicking performance sparked the Eskimos to a thrilling 19-18 win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders last Saturday.
Fleming was on the mark on all four of his field goal attempts and chalked up a total of 13 points in the victory. He also punted nine times for 360 yards and had five kickoffs for 301 yards.
This is the fifth time the Eskimos have had a player win the award on special teams with the four previous honours going to rookie sensation Tony Tompkins.
