
Blue Bombers Add Veteran Defensive Back Macho Harris, Defensive End Shayon Green

WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the addition of veteran defensive back Macho Harris, and International defensive end Shayon Green to the roster.
Harris (6-0, 200, Virginia Tech, February 16, 1986 in Highland Springs, VA) will be entering his fifth season in 2016, spending his first four in the CFL with Saskatchewan. Harris has played in 44 career games, starting 41. In 2015, he started 16 games with the Riders, recording 58 defensive tackles, four sacks, three interceptions (all in one game, a CFL high for 2015), and one forced fumble. Through his four year career, Harris has recorded 149 defensive tackles, four interceptions, six sacks and three forced fumbles.
Green (6-3, 265, Miami, July 9, 1991 in Tifton, GA) played 31 games for the Hurricanes, including starts in 25 contests as a junior and senior from 2012-2013. Green finished his collegiate career with 143 tackles and three sack. Following his NCAA career, Green signed with the Miami Dolphins, and following his release, with the Pittsburgh Steelers in April of 2015.
