WINNIPEG, MB., September 9, 2015 - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announce today the club has acquired Edmonton's best second round selection in 2016, and International offensive lineman Selvish Capers in exchange for National offensive lineman Chris Greaves.

Edmonton holds two selections in the second round of the 2016 CFL Draft - their own and Saskatchewan's - and the club has acquired the higher of those two picks.

Capers (6-5, 308, West Virginia, November 15, 1986, in New Orleans, LA) has spent the past two seasons with Edmonton. He started nine games in 2014,, playing seven at tackle and two at guard.

"With the depth we feel we have accumulated at this spot, we felt strongly about acquiring a pick in the second round of next year's draft, as well as a lineman with some experience in this league," said Blue Bombers General Manager Kyle Walters. "Chris has been a very valuable member of our organization for six seasons now, both on and off the field, and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers sincerely thank him for everything he has done for this team, and our community."
