Zach Collaros and Terrell Sinkfield Jr. Named Shaw CFL Top Performers of the Week

The Canadian Football League announced today that Hamilton Tiger-Cats quarterback Zach Collaros and wide receiver Terrell Sinkfield Jr. have been named two of the three Shaw CFL Top Performers for Week 11.

Collaros threw four touchdown passes and completed 26 of his 38 pass attempts for a career-high 400 yards in Monday's 42-12 win over the Toronto Argonauts at Tim Hortons Field. The native of Steubenville, Ohio has been named a Shaw CFL Top Performer of the Week in three of the last four weeks, and was also named the Shaw CFL Top Performer of the Month for August. Through 11 weeks, Collaros leads the league in passing yardage (3,032), passing touchdowns (22) and quarterback efficiency rating (114.1).

Sinkfield Jr. registered five receptions for 110 yards with two receiving touchdowns against the Argonauts to help lead the Tiger-Cats to their sixth win in the last seven games. The Minnetonka, Minnesota native has already established career highs in receptions (27), receiving yards (465) and receiving touchdowns (4) in just seven games this season.

Calgary's Charleston Hughes, second in voting, joins Collaros (first) and Sinkfield Jr. (third) as this week's Shaw CFL Top Performers. The three players were chosen by a panel of judges who independently send their selections to the CFL head office. The panel includes former Canadian Football League players Matt Dunigan and Duane Forde of TSN and Pierre Vercheval of RDS.
