Mickie Keuning came in relief in the sixth inning and retired the first batter he faced. Suiter then doubled and two walks to Christopher Harvey and Wojchiechowski loaded the bases. A wild pitch scored Suiter and then a single by Jered Meek made the score 4-0 scoring Harvey.

In the top of the eighth, the Anchors were finally able to get to starter Clay Chapman. After walking Michael Barash, Chapman was lifted after starting the game with seven scoreless innings. Andrew Mulato came into pinch run and went to third on a single by Keegan Dale. With two outs in the inning, Georgie Salem singled to right field, plating Mulato and making the score 4-1.
