Lexington County Blowfish News Release
COLUMBIA, S.C.- Wednesday night the Blowfish had Hall of Famer Hank Aaron throw out the ceremonial first pitch and had a pre game on field interview with WIS sportscaster Rick Henry!
The Columbia Blowfish fell victim to the Martinsville Mustangs 7-1 Wednesday evening at Capital City Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina.
The Mustangs opened the scoring in the top half of the third inning with three runs, after two infield bunts by Erick Renegar (Brevard College), and Devan Ahart (Akron). The Mustangs would later tack on two more runs in the sixth and ninth innings.
The defense Wednesday for the Blowfish was off the mark as they made six errors collectively as a team. Martinsville committed three of their own as well.
