Green Bay Blizzard News Release
Green Bay, WI âThe Green Bay Blizzard placed OL/DL Dave Sherrod (6-7, 335, Eastern Washington) on Other League Exempt as Sherrod signed a contract with the Hamilton Tiger Cats of the Canadian Football League. Sherrod was one of three of the Blizzard's starting OL/DL.
Sherrod previously was with the Indianapolis Colts and the Barcelona Dragons where injuries cut short his stay in both places before signing with the Blizzard.
The Blizzard take on the (3-1) Quad City Steamwheelers on Saturday, May 1st at the Mark of the Quad Cities in Moline, IL. The Steamwheelers are coming off a loss to the (3-0) Wilkes Barre/Scranton Pioneers.
Next home game is Saturday, May 8th when the Blizzard host the (0-3) Central Valley Coyotes as it is M&I Kids Jersey Night at the Resch Center.
