Blizzard make roster adjustments

Green Bay, WI – Head Coach Brian Noble and the Green Bay Blizzard have made adjustments to their 2004 roster. The Blizzard and the Albany Conquest have completed a trade for DS Quincy Roe. The Conquest will receive future considerations from the Blizzard in the trade. Quincy Roe has one year of experience in the af2 and played for the Kansas Jayhawks of the Big 12 Conference from 1998-2000. The Blizzard have been assigned OL/DL Brett Wetton (6-8, 340, Nebraska Kearney). Wetton was recently re-assigned from the Peoria Pirates.

Also, the Blizzard placed WR/DB Rodney Hartsfield (Benedict), OL/DL Spenser Middlebrook (Jacksonville State), WR/LB Phillip Doolin (Arkansas Pine Bluff), OS Nick Johnson (Hofstra), and FB/LB John Duginski (UW-Oshkosh) on re-assignment and placed QB Andy Sahm (Bowling Green) on team suspension.

The Blizzard will be holding a scrimmage on Saturday, March 27th from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Sports Emporium in DePere. Af2 league officials will be present at the scrimmage.
