
Blazers Sign Forward Connor Zary

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have announced that the hockey club has signed Connor Zary to a WHL standard player agreement.
Zary was selected by the Blazers in the second round, 37th overall in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.
The 5'11" and 160lb center from Saskatoon put up 44 goals, 37 assists and 81 points in 30 games last season for the Bantam AA Saskatoon Outlaws.
Zary is expected to play for the Saskatoon Contacts of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League next season.
"We are excited for Connor. He will be a great addition to our hockey club in the future," commented Director of Player Personnel, Matt Recchi. "Connor is an elusive, skilled and smart player. We look forward to watching his progress over this upcoming season.
Zary will be attending the Male U16 SaskFirst Summer Camp in Wilcox, SK from August 1-5. He will be in Kamloops for the Blazers fall training camp in late-August.
