
Blazers Sign Defenseman Devan Harrison

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have signed 15-year-old defenseman Devan Harrison to a WHL Education contract. Harrison was selected by the Blazers in the second round, 26th overall, in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft last week.
The Dysart, SK native is listed at 6'2" and 165lbs. He played this past season for the Prairie Storm in Bantam AA and had 10 goals, 25 assists and 35 points in 31 games. He was also the captain of his team.
The left shot defenseman also played five games with the Midget AAA Moose Jaw Generals as an underage player last season. He recorded a goal and four penalty minutes in his stint with the Generals.
"Devan is a big, strong and mobile defenseman," commented Director of Player Personnel, Matt Recchi. "We are excited to have him on board with us and are looking forward to watching him in training camp this fall."
