Baltimore Blast News Release
Defense Wins Championships:
This season the Blast defense has allowed only 5 goals while scoring 24 for the 2nd best goal differential in the MASL. William Vanzela lead the league GAA with a 1.67 average.
2014-15 MASL Defender of the Year, First Team All MASL, and Team Captain Pat Healey anchors the defense which was one of the best in the league last season. Healey and others, like MASL All Rookie Team selection Onua Obasi, veteran defender Adriano Dos Santos, look to continue the long tradition of stout Baltimore defense.
The Competition- Harrisburg Heat:
The Heat are led offensively by Kenny Fultz and Chris Hall who have recorded 2 goals each so far this season. In goal, Timothy Mehl enters with a .312 save percentage and a 9.79 GAA. Â The Heat are coached by Baltimore Blast Hall of Famer, Tarik Walker.
