Fury Duo Named to MASL Team of the Week

The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, had two players selected for inclusion on the Major Arena Soccer League's Team of the Week.
Goalkeeper Sanaldo and defender Juan Topete were chosen or their efforts last Saturday in the Fury's first-ever victory over the San Diego Sockers, 4-3. The Fury and Sockers will meet again at 1 p.m. Saturday at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
Sanaldo recorded 16 saves on 19 shots on goal in Saturday's game, including several point blank opportunities.
Topete, a former member of the Sockers, had two goals against his former team playing defender for the Fury. Both of his goals tied the score for the Fury.

These same two teams will meet again Saturday for a 1 p.m. game at Citizens Business Bank Arena as part of a special Ontario-San Diego doubleheader at the arena. The American Hockey League Ontario Reign will take on the San Diego Gulls in a game scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Saturday night.
