The Blast traveled to Syracuse on Friday night for an Eastern Division matchup against the Silver Knights. In their second matchup of the season the Blast were able to defeat the Silver Knights 5-2 and remain undefeated.

The Blast got on the board first when Levi Houapeu scored his fifth goal of the season off an assist from Jinho Kim. Before the end of the quarter Syracuse would even the score with a goal from Jerjer Gibson. At the end of the first the game was tied 1-1.

The Blast would retake the lead at the 6:18 mark in the second quarter when Adriano Dos Santos recorded his fifth goal of the season. The rest of the half the Blast controlled possession and played solid defensively. The Blast had 4 players record a block while goalkeeper William Vanzela recorded 12 saves in the half. At the half the Blast led 2-1.

The second half was a continued defensive battle. The Silver Knights tied the game at the 4:28 mark when Jerjer Gibson scored his second goal of the game off a restart. After a penalty kill by the Blast defense they would retake the lead when Onua Obasi made a move past a defender and ripped a shot that found the back of the net. This was Obasi's fourth goal of the season. The Blast entered the final quarter leading 3-2.

The Blast defense played solid the entire fourth quarter to protect their lead. The Blast leading goal scorer Vini Dantas, added his ninth goal of the season at 8:32 mark followed by Tony Donatelli recording a late goal to seal the Blast victory. The final score was Blast 5 Silver Knights 2.

The Blast move to 6-0 on the season. The Blast goal scorers were Levi Houapeu, Adriano Dos Santos, Onua Obasi, Vini Dantas, and Tony Donatelli. Jinho Kim recorded his fourth assist of the season Adriano Dos Santos recorded his third. Goalkeeper, William Vanzela, recorded 20 saves. The Blast will return home next Friday, December 18th, to take on the Harrisburg Heat at 7:35p.m. from the Royal Farms Arena.
