
Blast Announce Two Player Signings

Baltimore, MD- Baltimore Blast President and General Manager, Kevin Healey, announced today that the team has signed two new players. The new Blast players are forward Vini Dantas and midfielder Juan Pereira. The Baltimore Blast will be playing in the newly formed Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) this coming season which will have 23 teams throughout the United States and Mexico.
Forward Vini Dantas be entering his fifth season of professional soccer and his first indoor season. Dantas last played for the Ottawa Fury of the North American Soccer League. He scored 2 goals and recorded 4 assists last season. Prior to that, Dantas played for FC Lahti in the Finnish Premier League during the 2012-13 season scoring 6 goals for them. Dantas is 25 years old and a citizen of Brazil.
Joining Dantas on the roster is 23 year old midfielder Juan Pereira. Pereira is playing in his first professional season. Pereira was a player in the professional youth system for Atromiths in Greece.
The Baltimore Blast will kick off the regular season at home at the Royal Farms Arena on November 8th at 7:35 p.m. versus the Syracuse Silver Knights.
