
Blanchard named to af2 All-Ironman team

The honors continue to roll in for Tennessee Valley Vipers linebacker, running back and return specialist Travis Blanchard.
A day after being named first team American Conference All-af2 at jack linebacker, the league announced Thursday that the former Ole Miss standout has been selected to the af2 All-Ironman Team.
During 15 games in the 2009 season, Blanchard had a team third-best 59.5 tackles, a team high five interceptions and 11 pass breakups. He also led the Vipers with 64 rushing yards for 11 touchdowns and returned 43 kickoffs for a 21.3-yard average.
