Saskatoon Blades News Release
SASKATOON, SK - The Saskatoon Blades are pleased to announce 2005-born forward Tyler Parr has signed a WHL Standard Player Agreement with the organization.
Parr, selected in the third round (55th overall) in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft, captained the Rink Hockey Academy U15 squad in the 2019-20 season, scoring 34 points (12G-22A) in 29 games. In a COVID-shortened 2020-21 campaign, the La Salle, MB native joined the Pembina Valley Hawks U18 squad as an underage player and tallied eight points (5G-3A) in four contests.
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound sniper is expected to lace up in WHL exhibition play with the Blades this weekend. Parr is the fifth selection from the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft to sign with the Blades, following Tanner Molendyk, Lukas Hansen, Jordan Keller and Misha Volotovskii.
The Saskatoon Blades would like to welcome Tyler and the rest of the Parr Family to the organization, and look forward to helping him develop under Brennan Sonne's coaching staff.
