Blades Keep Point Streak Alive, Fall in Overtime vs Rockets

TAKE A BREAK: Forward Brandon Lisowsky scored a goal and two assist in the Saskatoon Blades' 5-4 overtime loss against the Kelowna Rockets Saturday at SaskTel Centre.

The trio of points extends the 19-year-old winger's point streak to six games, with nine points (3G, 6A) during that stretch. In 33 games, Lisowsky has 39 points (18G, 21A).

Anaheim Ducks draft pick Egor Sidorov notched a pair of goals for his seventh multi-goal game this season. The Belarusian machine has 13 points (8G, 5A) on his six game point streak. Captain Trevor Wong also extended his point streak to six games with two assists.

Rookie defenceman Brayden Klimpke collected his first WHL point with an assist on Lisowsky's goal, doing so in his fifth game.

The Blades head into the ten-day Christmas break on a nine-game point streak, and are first in the WHL with a 23-8-2-0) record.

NEXT GAME: The Blades get ten days off for the holidays with friends and family before returning for their biggest game of the season!

It's the club's annual Teddy Bear Toss game on Wednesday, Dec. 27th when the Blue and Gold welcome the Prince Albert Raiders.
