
Blades Jump Two Spots To Fourth

The Saskatoon Blades have moved into the 4th-place ranking in the Week 16 BMO CHL MasterCard Top 10 Rankings which came out on Thursday morning.
The Blades played six games since the previous rankings came out before the Christmas Break. The team compiled a record of 5-1 on a road trip that saw them go through the entire U.S. Division and finish against the Kootenay Ice. The Bridge City Bunch now sports the best record in the Western Hockey League at 29-8-1-3 for 62 points and is three points up on the top team in the Western Conference, the Tri-City Americans.
The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League's Top 10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts. This is the twelfth time the Blades have appeared on the list.
The Blades hit the ice this Saturday for their first home game of 2010 as the Lethbridge Hurricanes pay a visit to town. Game time at Credit Union Centre is 7:05 pm. Tickets are available online at Ticketmaster.ca, by calling 938-7800, or by visiting any Ticketmaster outlet.
