Hutt's Season Is Finished

January 7, 2010 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Regina Pats News Release

Regina, Saskatchewan - With the combination of the concussion he suffered in Medicine Hat on December 27th as well as a need to have second surgery on the cyst he had removed in the offseason, Killian Hutt has returned home and will not be available for the rest of the season. He went home to Edmonton today.

Hutt was acquired from the Portland Winter Hawks on September 28th and in 27 games with the Pats this season; he picked up 4 goals and 10 assists for 14 points.

Regina Pats General Manager, Brent Parker, "It is disappointing for Killian to have his season cut short, but for now, the most important thing is his health."

This now leaves the Pats with 14 forwards, 8 defencemen and 3 goaltenders for tomorrow night's renewal of their Trans-Canada rivals, the Moose Jaw Warriors. It's a 7pm puck drop for what is also "Jordan Eberle bobble head night", where 500 lucky fans will get a Jordan Eberle bobble head.
