BLANKED: The Saskatoon Blades' impressive goal streak came to an end Tuesday at SaskTel Centre in a 5-0 loss to the Red Deer Rebels.

The last time Saskatoon was shutout was Dec. 30th, 2022 in Winnipeg against the ICE, 424 days ago.

It's rare back-to-back losses for the Blue and Gold, who have been outscored 9-1 between tonight and Friday against the Brandon Wheat Kings. Despite the loss, Saskatoon remains first in the WHL with a 42-11-2-3 record and dominant at home at 23-3-1-0.

NEXT GAME: The Blades conclude their three-game homestand Friday when they welcome the Lethbridge Hurricanes for Berries night.
