
Blades Back Into CHL Top 5

The Saskatoon Blades moved back into the #5 spot in the Week 20 version of the BMO CHL MasterCard Top 10 Rankings which came out on Wednesday afternoon.
The Blades took to the ice three times this past week. The week started on Wednesday with a 4-3 victory in overtime over the Moose Jaw Warriors. The Blades then faced a home-and-home series with the Swift Current Broncos on Friday and Saturday. In the opening round on Friday night at home, the Blades fell 4-3 in overtime. The team responded in the rematch one night later with a 7-4 victory in Swift Current.
The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League's Top 10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts. This is now the sixteenth time that the Blades have appeared on the list.
The Blades are in action tonight on the road in Prince Albert to take on the Raiders. Game time is 7:00 pm. The game can be seen live across Western Canada on Shaw-TV and on Shaw Direct Channel 299. Les Lazaruk also has the call on the radio on 92.9 The Bull.
