Cowick, 26, joins the Everblades after one season with the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League (AHL) during which he totaled nine points (6g, 3a) and 47 penalty minutes.
"Corey has played a majority of his career at the AHL level," said Everblades Head Coach Greg Poss. "He is a good skating, physical player. He brings good size at the power forward position."
The 6-3, 208-pound Canadian left-winger has totaled 273 games in five AHL seasons logging 84 points (40g, 44a) split between his time with Springfield and the Binghamton Senators.
Cowick has also played in the Ontario Hockey League with the Oshawa Generals and Ottawa 67's, and appeared in 53 games with the Elmira Jackals (ECHL) between 2010-12.
The Gloucester, Ontario native was drafted in the sixth round (160th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft by the Ottawa Senators.
Cowick becomes the fifth player to join the Everblades for the 2015-16 season. Forwards Evan Bloodoff, Maxime St. Cyr, Jeff Jones, and defenseman Mark Nemec have all agreed to terms with the team.
