Blackhawks Call for Collin Delia

Indy Fuel News Release
CHICAGO - The National Hockey League's Chicago Blackhawks announced Wednesday that they have recalled goaltender Collin Delia on an emergency basis from the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs. Delia began the season with Indy, becoming the second former Fuel player in franchise history to reach the NHL.
Delia, 23, saw action in 10 games with the Fuel to start 2017-18, posting a 1-7-2 record, while recording his first professional victory on Oct. 27 against the Florida Everblades. The rookie netminder has since appeared in 24 games with the IceHogs, compiling a 14-6-4 record alongside a 2.68 goals against average and a .904 save percentage. Delia was named the CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the week ending March 4, after logging his first shutout on March 3 against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Signing with Chicago on July 28, 2017, the native of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. becomes the first Fuel player to reach the Blackhawks since the two teams began their affiliation in 2014-15. Delia is looking to become the second Fuel graduate to play in the NHL, following 2014-15 Indy defenseman Justin Holl - who scored two goals in a two game stint with the Toronto Maple Leafs from Jan. 31 to Feb. 1, 2018.
The Fuel continue their push for a Kelly Cup Playoff berth this weekend with a pair of critical Central Division match-ups at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. Indy hosts the Kansas City Mavericks Friday, before taking on the Fort Wayne Komets on Made In America night.
Single game tickets are now available for the entire 2017-18 Fuel season at Indiana Farmers Coliseum! Fans can also take advantage of a wide variety of ticket plans by calling 317-925-FUEL or visiting IndyFuelHockey.com.
